    This place used to be a good and safe storage facility until after the staff lost the old maintenance man. I have been a tenant here since September 16, 2014 and have seen a recent decline in the property. The problems started when a new maintenance man was hired. The son owner yelled at me in the office on February 6, 2017 upon walking in the office to complain about the maintenance man pressure washing units. Shortly after I ran over a screw on the property near where the old maintenance man's unit was due to the facility not checking the grounds more carefully. I heard the screw go into the tire when it happened. The owner screamed at me again and handed me a defective termination notice and he told the Lynn Haven pd that he wanted me trespassed from the property after the time expired. The police did advise him that he could not do this. I ended up running over another screw on the property on April 1st again hearing it puncture the tire. The owner threatened to overlock my unit and auction my personal property if I wouldn't move out. He evidently does do this and he isn't dotting the i's and crossing the t's even if other tenants are behind and unresponsive on rent. Upon paying April 16, 2017 rent the owner tried to take more money off my credit card to which I almost called police out on the spot. He then again screamed at me saying "If you're gonna stay, I'm gettin more money!" This is not only unprofessional but very retaliatory and he refuses to say why rent would increase in writing. He then raised my rent on my invoice for May 16, 2017 without providing the notice and when I went in the office to speak with him about this he screamed malicious and false accusations against me. There is one tenant here who has bicycles, knives, and potted plants outside his unit and he is creepy and if he sees me makes it a point to harass me. Just this past memorial weekend the side gate was left open for any transient to come through and possibly break into a unit, bathe in the customer restrooms ect.. People that have no business being inside the gates are getting in somehow. The owner recently got an attorney and this attorney filed suit while I was right in the middle of a rent period. This town doesn't follow the law on anything. It's a good ole boys club town. It's been a huge hassle too now every time I need to go to my unit as I have to walk the area I drive over to avoid possibly picking up another screw. Many of the customers renting units there work on their cars and run shops out of the units so there is always some sorta scrap metal material, screws, bolts, and oil plugs ect on the ground and further add to the problem. Update: On July 6, 2017 I was wrongfully evicted. I had paid the rent in full every month. My unit was always kept clean but the other tenant next to me in unit 907 was not. Their unit was auctioned off recently and the contents included photos, a purse, candy and food, and it smelled like someone had died in the unit. I complained to the owner and he had said I should move if I wasn't happy. I found evidence of rats in my unit and had the police do a report. Don't anyone rent unit 908 or any unit at this facility. Make them produce records of proper rodent inspections and preventative treatment of rodents. Also if anyone is behind on the rent here, you have the right to access your unit. If the facility overlocks call the police to report it and if the lock is not removed you do have the authority to cut it off. The lease that you sign with them has illegal provisions in it authorizing self help. It's not allowed no matter what. It's written in the contracts to bully the tenants. They must take you to court if you are behind on rent. So stay as long as you are able to without paying and hopefully when you are ordered to leave by the court your stuff won't be destroyed by rodents. TENANTS BEWARE OF THIS FACILITY!
